Training and Development

Ongoing training and development is an important part of our overall business strategy and culture, If you join us, you will be provided with ongoing support, coaching and mentoring so you feel confident in your ability to undertake the responsibilities placed upon you and progress your career.

In addition to receiving in-house training and attending external seminars and training courses as required, you will have regular Performance and Development Review meetings with your supervisor throughout the year, along with an annual appraisal.

Trainee Solicitor Development Programme

As a Trainee Solicitor, you will gain hands-on practical experience working in our Costs, Catastrophic and Personal and Serious Injury teams enabling you to develop your skills and knowledge in all areas of Personal Injury. We provide you with as much support as you need via internal and external training as well as on-the-job learning. This is complemented by attending the University of Law in Chester or Manchester to undertake your PSC modules as well as attending seminars, lectures and networking events via the Manchester Trainee Solicitors Group.

For non-law or unqualified graduates, we offer learning and development opportunities working as a Paralegal. Subject to your performance and overall commitment to pursuing a career in Personal Injury, we may provide some funding towards your studies if you have not started or completed the GDL/LPC when offered a position.

Trainee Legal Executive

If your preference is to pursue CILEx qualifications, we may also provide funding towards your studies whilst working for us as a Paralegal.
